June 8th - Simple words, "Do you know anyone else...."

Good Morning!

1. Let Fotu play! Gives me a good reason to go out and watch little league football again! (:

3. There is a lot of that going on over here too.  The kids come up to us and ask if we want to play this game called "the charley challenge" a simple game to watch the hand of satan.  Its been all over the news here in St. Lucia and Martinique.

5.  I prefer Saturday. That way we can play loud music and people can be as loud as they want and wont have to break the Sabbath on Sunday.  I want a medium eating. haha idk up to you guys!

Mom you will have to give me the book to read sounds like a really good book. I will always remember what President Mehr said in my interview "the hardest workers will always be successful" and that's the reason why he is a millionaire along side with his wife.

I love the business idea.  A lot of the members here are trying to start one up like that and even a sewing business. Do you have a name for your business?

I love what Bishop shared.  You read a lot about the payment of our sins from the Apostle Paul in the New Testament. I read a lot about the atoning blood of christ from my reading in Jesus the Christ and The Infinite Atonement.  I am almost done with another book called Believing Christ. Great books!

I have grown to love reading on my mission.  As you all probably already know, I was one who despised reading but now I love it! (:

This week has been a good one.  Elder Tupou and I focused a lot on balancing our efforts to achieve real growth in our area.  We found a couple of sweet people to teach but in particular a lady name Beverly was a highlight for us this past week.  The way we found her was through her mother.  It was just the simple words "do you know anyone else around here who would be interested in hearing our message?" just like that she told us to walk next door and there we will find her 23 year old daughter.  From the outset we got to know her and tied in her feelings for God to the Restoration of the Gospel.  We committed her to be baptized and at the end of the lesson she paused and said "you know, I have been visited by many church organizations and you guys are the only ones that interest me".  We are expecting to set a baptism date with her this Wednesday

Well family everything here is irie! I am loving my mission so far and doing my best to soak in everything I do on the field!

With love,

Elder Brown
