Good day family and friends! That's so sad about the passing away of Uncle Sale. I will miss him very much. I testify of the great plan of salvation and it's truthfulness. That's the beauty of this gospel, it's knowing we can live with our families again some day if we continue to be worthy of this blessing.
Eld. Ferrin is officially my companion, he's from Farmington and graduated from Davis High School. On December 21st, we have committed a sister to be baptized, her name is Reshma, so we're looking forward to that.
Well this week flew by so fast. When it comes to transfer week, it feels like time is stalling. Anyways, here's a cool experience I had on Tuesday. Eld. Ferrin and I were tracking but we weren't very successful, so we returned to our apartment feeling a little down. However, we were determined that since we still had a good half hour left we could still find someone to teach that night. We knelt down and I said the prayer asking Heavenly Father for his guidance and to place someone in our path to teach. As we stepped out of the door, our neighbor across from us opened his door and he asked us if we could come inside and share with him our faith.
We sat down and shared with him about the restoration and some other basic gospel principles. It was such a good feeling and the discussion was awesome. We felt good that we were able to share the gospel with someone that Heavenly Father led us to. I testify of the power of PRAYER, it works miracles when you fully pray in faith, even if it's as small as a grain of mustard seed. So, never forget to pray before you leave the house and always be worthy of the garments that we're blessed with.
Love our new home, it looks great and exciting, can't wait to camp in the living room and play some games hahaha!
Love and miss you all and have a lime week!
