Good morning family & friends!
It was so nice to see everyone on Christmas day! Thank you Mom for all the pictures, I really enjoyed seeing the changes in everyone and things that are going on in Utah. I am so happy for Lawrence and Nana for going on a mini mission, it gets better when you're on the mission field:).
Tell Uncle Eric I love his sweater, it's the freshest sweater I had ever seen lol. Man, I can tell Lawrence will be a great missionary as I've heard so much about him. I could hardly wait for him to experience what I am experiencing right now. This work is amazing!
The end of transfer is on Wednesday and Eld. Ferrin and I will be together again:) He is our new district leader and I know he will do great things for our zone. Since the transfer, things have been rough, meaning, no investigators coming to church and we have tried to do all we can, even fasting and praying diligently, but no one can be found to teach. Last night, Eld. Ferrin and I sat down, talked and pondered about what's going on and what could we have done better or differently to get our investigators to church and to progress. We came to a conclusion that it's a trial of our faith. Sometimes, we strive so hard to get the answers and what we want immediately, but forgetting that we work in the Lord's time, not our time.
Tomorrow, we're fasting again for the purpose to progress the work in Valencia. We just can't give up for I know there are families out there that need to be saved, just a matter of time. I am so grateful for the Atonement and what it does to my life. I love this gospel and His work. Hope you guys have a great week!
Love,
Elder Brown
