At about 9 pm, while I was driving back home with Taiana, the phone rang, noticed the # from Trinidad and the conversation went like this:
Mum: "Son, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh son it's you, hi son omg omg....."
(at the same time, Taiana calming me down)
Elder Brown: "Mum, mum, mum, calm down, "this is Elder Brown calling from Trinidad, Mum, listen very carefully, I will be calling you tomorrow at your 9 am, okay Mum?"
Mum: (lost of words....."omg omg son so good to hear your voice....how are you son?"
(Taiana still trying to calm me down)
Elder Brown: "Mum, I don't have much time, I will talk to you tomorrow okay?"
Mum: "Ok ok son, I love son."
Taiana: "Love you Eld. Brown"
Eld. Brown: "Love and miss you too, goodbye."
The last 5 minutes driving home was DEAD SILENCE. I swear, I almost thought I heard my own teardrops falling.
