June 9th - I must be exactly obedient!

Good afternoon family!

Just want to start off with a big LOL at Nana....hahaha keep it up sis!:) (Taiana been hiking at Ensign Peak/Bountiful Temple, preparing for July Pioneer Trek.  Not even a mile, she would call, "Mum, please pick me up I'm dying."  That's why Elder Brown is LOL at her).

It's so nice to see a lot of the family members in these pictures.  I now can see how busy you are Mom.

As much as I'm dying to watch and listen to Lawrence graduation speech, I have chosen to be EXACT OBEDIENT and I will put it off watching his video.  I can't go on any other website other than MyLDSmail and the Church website.  No worries though, I will see it in about 14 months!:)

I am anxious to hear where Lawrence will be serving!  Make sure you guys go to Chucks and celebrate for me haha!

     Answers to your questions Mom:

1.  About my wisdom teeth?  Well, they are still strong and white.  Need all of them to chew my food haha!

2.  Do I go to the dentist for cleaning?  No, I keep mine clean and healthy, always flossing.  I have no problem with my teeth.

3.  P-day?  Every P-day we go with the 1st counselor to deposit the money in the bank.  Other than that, we always look for service to do.  I want to put my machete to work!

4.  Bike?  Yes, my bike is fixed and much better now.

5.  Food?  I try my best to eat clean.  But living here in Guyana there's really nothing "clean" to eat.  We eat a lot of snacks, church's chicken, roti and curry chicken.

It is now week 6 and it's the last week of the transfer.  This Friday will be transfer call.  I feel like Elder Felix and I will stay together.  On the 14th, we're planning on 4 people getting baptized.  It's brother Gilbert and his wife, Winston Austin and Sister Riya.  The only hold back on Riya is she needs to be married this week and we are waiting for Pres. Kirton to get that done.

Yesterday, Brother Gilbert and his wife came to church and they loved it!  I taught the lesson about Eternal Marriage in the Elders Quorum.  Bro. Gilbert was fascinated with the principal of eternal family that he made a good comment he said, "mahn, all families need to be together forever."  As you see, this couple has 4 children and 2 of them are baptism age and we are planning to have him baptize them when he receives  the priesthood.

Winston Austin is 17 and says he already knows the church is true.  If he was still living at his grandmother's house, he wouldn't be able to be baptized.  Now, he is stoked for baptism!

I am humbled and grateful for the wonderful people I get to work with every day.  I know the Lord is with us daily as we labor in His vineyard.  I pray for you all daily.  May you all continue to hearken unto the Spirit "for the Spirit will guide you to all truth."

Love,
Elder Brown
