January 5th - There are countless miracles around us, look for them!

Good Afternoon family! :)

Thank you for sharing excerpts of Bishop's talk with me.  Sounds like the Ward is pretty determined to work hard this new year and achieve worthy goals!  Boy looking at pictures of the temple make me want to go there even more!  Ha the more I learn of the temple and eternal marriage the more I want to be married lol.  I know I got a long ways to go before I get a ring on my finger so don't stress mom and dad :)

I am surprised you guys didn't hear Trinidad from home during new years eve.  Boy this place was bumpin with music! A lot of the members fed us so that was good! :)

I can't believe I am now into the year I return :( The other day Elder Bates and I were just reminiscing about our missions and how far we have come.  Transfer day is this Saturday!  Many missionaries are telling me that I will be the next assistant and ting. Ha but I don't let that pump my tires, I just want to work as hard as I can for the last few months that I have on my mission.

This past week has been great, One hot afternoon we went to see one of our most progressing investiagators name Amanda.  After a few call in's it no later hit us that she wasn't home so we turned back to our car. Suddenly a rasta man from accross the road opened his window and what seemed to us looked like he was about to call for us.  So immediately we greeted him with a warm smile and asked if we could share something with him.  As we sat down with him he shared with us how he was just laying down in bed and just had the feeling like he needed to talk to someone.  Brother Leroy said he heard us calling in and that was when he made his move to talk to someone.  After the lesson Brother Leroy expressed how grateful he was to pay attention to the prompting he had, Brother Leroy is now preparing to be baptized on Febuary 7th.

Just a miracle story I had last week! There are countless miracles all around us, look for them! :)

With love,

Elder Bown
