April 27th - Serving in the Branch presidency

Good Morning! :)

"And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea; then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me" (Alma 29:10) When I saw the picture of Keaola, this scripture immediately came to mind. What a blessing it is to hear about Keaola! I am so proud of him! Please send my love to him!

So good to hear about the growth of the Ward!  A felicitous summer activity would be to go to 7 Peaks and have a BBQ there :) I'm all for swimming, especially living in the Caribbean, so tempting to go swimming! haha

I keep forgetting to tell you guys, but I have been called to be the acting second counselor in the branch presidency, I am also the branch clerk and Elders quorum teacher on top of that as you know I am the District leader! So many responsibilities, so many blessings :)

I had a great week last week.  On Tuesday I went on a trade-off with Elder Tulikihakau!  He is an incredible young missionary. I find a lot of joy in helping missionaries fulfill their purpose as a missionary.  I had a great time with him in his area, learned some of their weak points in their area and companionship and was able to help them fortify those weak spots.

Saturday Elder Tupou and I contacted into a very humble home.  There we met a really nice old man who came out to greet us.  He kindly invited us into his home to talk to him.  We got to know him pretty well and shared the message of the Restoration.  After the lesson we invited brother Torrance to say the closing prayer, while he prayed he stopped and he broke down and cried.  I felt the spirit so strongly as this 73 year old man wept.  After the prayer with tears in his eyes told us that he has never been treated to kind before and that he has never felt this way before. He accepted the invitation to be baptized and we hope to see him this week!

That's about it from me! Hope you all have a great week!

With love,

Elder Brown

This family has a favorite missionary and that was Elder Max Moala, my 2nd cousin

My companion loves his food.  He made some chicken soup with rice and brought to church, everyone was looking if he was bringing it to them hahaha
