Congratulations Tana!! That is so awesome! It is so exciting to hear about our family and friends called to serve the Lord!
Man I can't believe I will be coming home soon. I am now the oldest missionary on the Island ): A lot of the younger missionaries like to tease me by pointing at an air plane and asking me "Elder Brown how far is that plane?... looks like its 3 months away!" haha I'm not trunky.. yet (:
This week I have been learning a lot of Patwa (broken french) and its really cool to be able to communicate to people in their own language!
Not too much happened this week. It is a blessing to be working in the branch presidency. Yesterday I have the opportunity to set apart a few members. Membership in Vieux-fort is growing! The members here are doing a great job fellow-shipping less-active members and investigators as well as inviting their non-member friends to come to church!
I am looking forward to next Sunday! My last skype on my mission ): So I think I will answer a lot of your questions and comments on Sunday! (:
Tootbagibo!! (Everything is good) here, we safe gasa!
With love,
Elder Brown
My shoes are breaking! haha. I found a sponge on the road and stuffed it in my shoe, the one with the biggest hole. Life as a missionary...I love it!
We made some yummy food!
