October 21st - Aunty Ane's ties!

"I am so excited about Dad's new job, tell him I have been praying for him.  The other day, I thought of the time I spent with him in Tennessee before I left.  It made appreciate him more and how grateful I am to have a loving father.

This week has gone by so quickly, we have completed teaching Sis. Akila and looking forward to her baptism this Saturday.  We're currently teaching another family, the Frontin's and our missionary couple, Eld. & Sis. Monson have been helping us out too.  Last night we taught them about the Plan of Salvation, I love this lesson, sure taught me a lot.

The other night, I had the privilege to give a blessing to one of the sisters in the ward, Sis. Cafone, her and her husband owns 5 Star Italian Restaurant, a very wealthy family but so humble.  Their teenage son often comes with us tracking and then go eat at his family restaurant for free (best part)...blessing!

Answers to your questions, Yes mother I do have a voice and can sing in church, but not so loud like how the Tongan women sing in our ward lol.  Nope, never feel homesick because I love my mission and what it brings into my life.  I get to drive a lot, no more walking in the hot sun and yes we drive on the left side of the road.  Laundry mat is just outside our apartment and we share with everyone.  About the TIES, whenever there's a new convert, I give him one tie from the ties aunty Ane provided.  Yes I do get emails from friends and families, but often I don't have enough time to write back to everyone because we're only allowed one hour on the computer but I love hearing from everyone.

We attend the biggest ward in Trinidad and have given an opportunity to give a talk about Sacrament.  We don't see our Mission President a lot, but we report to him by email on our PD.  And yes mom, I am nice to everyone and get along with my companion and everyone I work with.  Scripture for this week is Alma 37:35-37....I love it!  Btw, send my love to Bishop Pouha, can't wait to do more workout with him when I get back, he is so cool!  That's it for now family.  Love you guys."
