"I am starting to see how Satan's hands work during our lessons. Every time we teach about the Restoration, about 90 percent of the time a distraction ALWAYS comes up, just as we're getting to the climax of our message on Joseph Smith. Like the other night, we were teaching a family about the Restoration and the Spirit was so strong until BOTH their phones went off and it sort of driven the Spirit away. Eld. Hatch and I just looked at each other in disbelief.
But on a brighter note, we have a super great family that we committed to baptism on November 16th, they're the Frontin family, they were tough to work with, but through DILIGENT efforts it all paid off.
One of Christ's attributes that I'm striving to become is to have CHARITY. You guys go to Moroni 7:42-48 and study along with me. "Charity suffereth long, is kind, envieth not, not puffed up, seeketh not her own, not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity but in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.....For if he have not charity he is nothing.....cleave unto charity for it is the greatest of all....."
Great news from my end, a family of 5 from Guyana got baptized last Saturday, lot of members attended and guess what, I gave the confirmation. One of the families we baptized while back, the Samaroo family, I was looking at pictures of them and some of the elders that worked with them and guess who was in the picture? Cousin Max Moala! I guess I was sent here for a reason because Eld. Moala and his companion planted the seed and we came in and baptized them. Isn't that something?
Okay, here's the fun part, on Friday, we did some yard work for this sister, she gave us some MACHETES to cut her grass....the old school way, wow talk about hard work. Anyways, that's all for now."
