That is so good to hear about the Bountiful ward! Ulysses is looking great!! Is he competing anytime soon? That's awesome to hear about your new responsibilities. I know mom as you continue to be diligent in your calling you can avoid anomalous scattering and see real growth within the church.
Well transfers came last Saturday... and I flying out to ST. LUCIA!! I will be serving in Vieux-Fort (Elder Felix's hometown). I will be companions with Elder Merrell. He has been out for about 7 months, he is 6'6, and is a good missionary. I am excited to work in my new area, I know President Mehr and the Lord is expecting a lot from me this new transfer.
"by their fruits ye shall know them" (3 Nephi 14:20) I have come to understand how you can tell if a missionary is out doing "missionary things" or "being a missionary". Is by the works or what they bare. I tell you this thing because I am so pumped to start working in my new area. I am aware that not much fruit has come out of Vieux-Fort lately and I am determined to turn it around.
Fun/Weird story I wanna share with you all that happened to me this past Saturday. It was the night of our Book of Mormon fireside, we had President and Sister Mehr as our special speakers. As part of the fireside, we split up into four groups and we picked a story from the Book of Mormon to act out in front of everyone. After the fireside we have refreshments and got to meet a few investigators. Well it was about time for us to go until one of the Elders investigators came up to me to say good-bye she pulled me in and kissed my ear... I did my best to move my face but she got a piece of me... we had a good laugh with the members afterwards. haha
I am stoked about my new area, I will be flying out Wednesday at 6:00 AM! Gives me a whole day to go out and work! I love the Book of Mormon, and I hope we continue to study it often. Please MAKE the time and not wait to FIND the time to read. Have a great week everyone!
