February 18th - Upcoming baptism of Perry Rupert & Sean! Another lock down (carnival)

Good afternoon!

Boy it is good to be out and about doing missionary work again.  I forgot to tell you all of last week all the missionaries in Trinidad and Tobago were locked in for Carnival.  We had 12 Elders stayed with us these past two days, we had a lot of fun playing board games and even went out to play some football by the apartment for exercise. So don't worry everyone I am alive! :)

Thank you for sharing some insights from your Stake Conference.  Family home evening is something we try to focus on when we teach a lot of our less-actives.  Next month Elder Cornish of the seventy will be visiting our mission, I am excited to here from him!  We are really focusing a lot on real growth in the church and the mission is putting a lot of effort to activate less-actives!

This Saturday we will be having the baptism of Brother Perry Rupert and Brother Sean!  We enjoyed teaching these two, fun to teach because they just understand the gospel so well it's almost like we are reviewing lessons instead of teaching.  We also have great fellow-shippers for them as well so we feel confident that they will be active in the church when we leave.

Good job Lawrence on the work you and your companion are doing!  I am proud of you!

What a great success story about Brother Amaleki!  Good job family of being a great support to him!

Next week is transfers and two Elders from Tongatapu are coming their names are Elder Onaloto Tulikihakau and Elder Ma'asi Moli.  I hope I get to serve with one of them or even around them before my mission ends.

Well family I cant express how thankful I am to be here right now and how grateful I am to know you all are engaged in the work of salvation.  Keep it up and always trust in the Lord.

With love,

Elder Brown
