That was nice of Bishop to address to the members about the Tongan funeral. I will be sure to make both your funerals nice and simple when the time comes. Kinda weird how you have your funeral all planned out already mom, relax.
I am so jealous of nana and her vacation! haha the food looks amazing, cant wait to go to Mo Betta steak! :)
Wow that's amazing how people still want Tana to play Aida this year. If it will inflict with Tana's mission preparation I would say not to. But if not go for it, don't hide your talent under a bushel :) maybe the Lord is preparing someone to hear Tana's impregnable voice and may lead one to investigate the church through Tana. This whole thing sounds auspicious. Pray about it. :)
Pretty good week for Elder Merrell and I! We did a lot of finding this past week and found a lot of cool people. Huge success we had was with Pauline again. This lady is something special! We met with her last Tuesday and as we sat there waiting to begin, she said "don't start I invited my niece to come and listen". Her niece's name is Corinthia! She lives not too far from Pauline, and she is awesome! She currently has a brain tumor and is working to earn enough money to fly to the States to get surgery. Lucky enough she can comprehend things pretty well. She is preparing to drown on April 18th! This Saturday we will be having the Baptism on Pauline and hopefully the rest of the family. We haven't been successful with meeting with her husband because her works a lot, but he still makes a special effort to come to church with his family. We also will be having the baptism of Ange Hypolite! He is a stud! He really wants to serve a mission when he turns 18 and is excited to learn about the gospel!
The Lord is truly blessing us and I can see the hands of the Lord work through Elder Merrell and I as we are pertinacious with our missionary efforts.
